On the 19th June 2017, a workshop entitled “Micro- and nano-technologies for health” was organized by the Politecnico di Torino. In this context, the PhD student Giorgia Montalbano presented the ERC BOOST project and its novel material-driven approach for osteoporosis treatment, combining different nanomaterials (collagen, mesoporous bioactive glasses, nano-hydroxyapatite and growth factors) for the realisation of a smart scaffold.
