During the 29th Conference of the international Society for Medical Innovation and Technology (iSMIT), the PhD student Giorgia Montalbano won the Best Abstract Award for her presentation entitled “Collagen-based biomimetic smart scaffold for bone tissue engineering” where she showed her first results on the synthesis and printing of the collagen-based hybrid material foreseen in BOOST project.
