In the frame of the 29th Conference of the international Society for Medical Innovation and Technology (iSMIT), held in Turin (Italy) on the 9-10th November 2017, prof. Chiara Vitale Brovarone hold a presentation entitled “Smart bone-like scaffolds for osteoporotic fractures” to illustrate her ERC BOOST project idea and to show some preliminary results. In the same context, the PhD student Giulia Molino presented a poster entitled “Mimic the inorganic component of bone through mesoporous hydroxyapatite and mesoporous bioactive glasses” where she showed her results on the synthesis of these two materials, future constituents of the BOOST scaffold.
