In the frame of the 26th Annual Meeting of the European Orthopaedic Research Society (EORS), held in Galway (Ireland) from the 26th to the 28th September 2018, prof. Chiara Vitale Brovarone hold a presentation entitled “3D printing of bone-like scaffolds containing mesoporous glasses to treat osteoporotic fractures” to illustrate her ERC BOOST project idea and to show some preliminary results. In the same context, the PhD student Giulia Molino hold a second oral presentation entitled “Osteoporosis influence on structural and mechanical properties of human humeral heads” where she showed her results on the characterization of osteoporotic and healthy bones as foreseen in the first work package of the ERC BOOST project.
