During the National Congress on Biomaterials organized by the Italian Society for Biomaterials (SIB) held in Caserta (Italy) from the 5th to the 7th June 2019, the research assistant Caterina Licini won the Award for Best Poster presentation. Her work entitled “Mutual biological and chemical/physical bone characterization for customized 3d-printed scaffolds” illustrated the efficacy of the combination of biological and chemical/physical methods to get a wide-ranging knowledge of healthy and osteoporotic bone structure for the printing of the 3D bone scaffold within the BOOST project.
