ERC BOOST PROJECT

The post-doctoral researcher Giorgia Montalbano presented a poster in the context of the StemNet meeting 2021, entitled " Biomimetic and bioactive 3d printed bone scaffolds to support the physiological balance between osteoblast and osteoclast activity”, where she highlighted the promising results collected from the preliminary biological assessment of collagen-biomimetic 3D printed scaffolds in presence of human bone cell co-cultures.

The Post-doc research fellow Caterina Licini hold a Poster plus a Rapid Fire presentation at the 30th Annual Conference of the European Society for Biomaterials (ESB) in Dresden from the 9^th to the 13^rd September 2019. In her poster entitled "A combined biological and chemical/physical bone characterization for the development of customized 3D-printed scaffolds” she presented the results concerning the characterisation of healthy and osteoporotic bone tissue at different scale lengths.
