On the 24th May 2019, the Spring Meeting of the Department of Research, Innovation and Technology (RIT) of the Istituto Ortopedico Rizzoli of Bologna was held. In this context, the research fellow Giorgia Borciani presented a poster entitled "4-StarPEG cross-linked collagen composite containing mesoporous bioactive glass for bone application", where she illustrated the results of cell cultures performed on one of the hybrid compositions made by the Polito group to mimic the bone chemical composition and structure.
During the TERMIS congress regarding the tissue engineering therapies, hold in Rhodes (Greece) from the 27th to the 31st May 2019, the PhD student Giorgia Montalbano hold successfully the invicted lecture entitled "Osteoporosis and 3D bone like scaffolds mimicking the features of human healthy bone" in substitution of the PI Prof. Chiara Vitale Brovarone.
